About school
Fatih Primary School, which was put into service in the 2004-2005 academic year, was built on an area of 490 square meters with four floors. 500 square meters of this area is used as a green area covered with grass and flowers. The area of 3000 m2 has been arranged for the purpose of doing sports activities. School and kindergarten were placed in the remaining space. Fatih primary school is not in a regional destination due to its location. It is in a disadvantageous position in terms of social environment. There are 910 students and 31 teachers in primary and kindergarten. Our school offers a range of social activities: judo, folk dances, scouting, mindfulness, chess, music, mind games, art and STEM workshops. Our 25 teachers who have been trained educator education, practice Mindfullness exercises with their pupils in their classrooms. This helps students when dealing with exam anxiety, peer bullying etc...
Our organisation's Erasmus+ experience is very new. We want to improve our institutional capacity by taking part in international projects. We believe that we will contribute to the career plans of our students who gain entrepreneurship skills in our school, which is located in a disadvantaged region thanks to international collaborations. In our school, studies are carried out emphasising the importance of recycling in order to protect the natural environment. Our teachers include interdisciplinary skills in their curriculum, but they do not have the ability to direct their students in the field of social entrepreneurship. We think that by taking part in this project, they will fill their knowledge and skill deficiencies and gain experience. Elementary-aged children have a natural curiosity, imagination, drive, and ability to find innovative ways to make the world better. By exposing our children to a variety of disciplines, including social entrepreneurship, we want them to gain a different perspective and see that they have everything they need. We want our students from low-income families to develop the creativity and innovation skills that come with both an entrepreneurial mindset and entrepreneurial skills. There are children's clubs and social activities that have been successfully carried out for many years in our institution. We teach 3D design and scratch coding language at club events. We are strong in creative drama, mindfulness practices, orienteering, eTwinning projects. We believe that protecting nature should be the priority of the century we live in. Our institution willingly takes part in different projects, competitions, cooperation and experience exchange activities. Our aim is not only to educate our students in school subjects, but also to teach them environmental awareness, creative thinking and entrepreneurship skills. These issues are very important in terms of education. Children of immigrated families and students with disabilities receive education in our institution. As an institution that provides project-based education, we think that the project is in line with our corporate mission.
