The EON project developed a detailed learning scenario for 8-9 year old students titled "Creating a Vegetable Garden at School," which combines environmental education with practical hands-on activities to teach children about climate change mitigation through nature-based solutions. Through a series of structured activities including creating mini-vegetable gardens, building vertical gardens from recycled materials, and joining an eco-friendly schools network, students learn essential 21st-century skills while developing environmental consciousness and practical understanding of sustainability concepts.
