In this task, students will embark on a journey to explore and present the cultural heritage of Ptuj, Slovenia’s oldest city. Working in groups, students will research specific cultural sites such as the Dominican Monastery, Orpheus Monument, City Tower, St. Florian Monument, and the Town Hall. They will create informative posters and prepare engaging presentations to share their findings.

Through this project, students will enhance their historical knowledge, public speaking, and collaboration skills. Additionally, they will gain insights into the importance of tourism education and its role in preserving cultural heritage while exploring entrepreneurial opportunities within the tourism sector. This hands-on experience will help students appreciate their local history and consider ways to promote it for educational and economic benefits. (Mentor: Mojca Vodušek)
