Converence “Youth work and hobby education in Estonia”

Patterns and changes behind the track Nicola Hedlund, teacher of English, technology and textiles, was the only external guest at the conference. Having worked in three different cultures, England, Italy and Sweden, the speaker had a diverse view of what could work well and where. In a rich presentation, she opened up the important idea of how to create a space for children to act, to ask questions and solve problems. Largely on his own initiative and with his own funding, he has created such circular learning for young people. In the Technology Club, it is an opportunity for discovery and self-creation of new patterns and changes. Young people need to be given the opportunity to challenge themselves, to develop their problem-solving skills, to think outside the box – this will provide much-needed knowledge for life.
